We are more than a youth group.

We are a ministry designed to challenge middle school & high school students to trust Jesus Christ and to follow Him. Discipleship is the heartbeat of our student ministry. Our goal is to develop students of God’s Word who are equipped to impact a culture that is progressively

becoming ‘Post-Christian’.

Sunday Small Groups

Sundays - 9am & 10:30am

Our Students are learning how to study the Scriptures for themselves so that they can lead others to study the Scriptures through a one on one processes of discipleship. It's a really exciting time for our students and our church at large.

Student Ministry Small Groups will be located in the Student Wing

Student Worship

Wednesdays at 6:15pm

Our Wednesday evening worship times are designed to give students the opportunity to gather with their peers in an environment that encourages fellowship, worship through song and study of the Word.

FAQs

Who is welcome to attend?

Our student ministry is available to all students between 7th -12th grade.

Can I join my child?

We will never refuse parents access to this student ministry. However, we have a structure for leadership in place to best meet the needs of our students as well as provide a safe welcoming atmosphere. If you want to be more involved then we ask that you speak with leadership first.

What can my child expect?

We believe in sharing life together. When your child comes to student ministry they can expect fellowship, worship and the teaching of God's Word. Although we don't place a major emphasis on games and activities, we do know how to have fun as believers. We aren't your typical youth group. We want your child to grow in their faith and be able to lead others to faith as well.

What is a [dmi] student?

A [dmi] student is one who has made an intentional investment into the ministry, the local church, and their community for one school year. The primary function of a [dmi] student is to make disciples. The term "[dmi]" stands for: Disciple Making Initiative

Do I have to be a Christian?

Not at all. We desire for this ministry to be student-led. Our hope is that those in the ministry will share Jesus with non-believers in hopes of them surrendering their life to Jesus. It's a ministry, so that's what we do!

What are your service times?

We meet every Wednesday night in the Student Wing (Old Sanctuary) from 6:15pm-7:30pm for student worship. We have two small group hours that are offered on Sunday mornings: 9:00am & 10:30am

What is a mentor?

Our mentors are fantastic. They have a gift and a calling for middle school and high school students. They are intentional to invest one on one in the lives of students as well as guide and instruct our student leaders.

Do you believe in missions?

Oh yes! Our Savior was a missionary savior. As a result, so are we. We encourage and provide opportunities at home and abroad for students to be apart of the Great Commission around the world.

STUDENT MINISTRY

We believe in equipping students to do the work of the ministry
