Family Discussion Questions:

  • What is one thing you like about this story?  Why?

  • What is one thing this story teaches us about God?

  • Did God abandon His people when they were captured?

  • What’s something this story teaches us about people?

  • Mom or Dad, talk about a time when you did not listen to a warning.  What were the consequences?

  • What other questions do you (kids) have?

Family Activity:

  • Play a game of capture the flag with your family (and maybe with some neighbors too!).  Talk about how we are born as slaves to sin, but Jesus died to set us free from sin so that we can love and obey God.
